Solvej Lorenzen has been a scholarship holder of the WIFU Foundation since August 2021, conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Dr Marcel Hülsbeck and Prof. Dr Jörn Block on the topic ‘Family Owner’s Goals on a Micro-level – An Identity and Exchange Perspective’. Since she started working at the WIFU, she has already published a book contribution as a co-author and supported and led two research projects in data collection. Within her cumulative doctoral project, she strives to be able to build on and promote international scientific exchange. Ms Lorenzen completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Trier and supported the chair for organisation and management there as a research assistant. In her quantitative thesis, she dealt with the topic of internationalisation in family businesses.
